I'm Bob Vincent, host of THE BIG BEAT, right here on MtROCK. I'm a Multiple Award-winning broadcaster (Including an RTNA GOLDEN MIKE) with an undying passion for Rock and Roll, vinyl records, and The Beatles, which has been helpful in the development of THE BIG BEAT. THE BIG BEAT showcases the career-spanning music of The Beatles as well as their solo works, cover songs, and even their kids' and wives' music.
I was born decades after The Beatles existed. As a young'n, I want to help bridge the generational gap between Rock and Roll fans. I also strive to further explore and understand The Beatles' universe by deeply immersing my heart and mind in The Beatles' music and the stories of those who were actually around to hear the latest Beatle record.
Come on! Roll up, roll up! Start your weekend right with THE BIG BEAT!I greatly look forward to sharing this timeless music with you!

I have been attending Mt. SAC for about 2 years now and for the longest time I was goin for a psychology major but during the spring semester of 2012 it all changed. I took one class in R-TV and that was it, I knew I had to join the program.
I got interested in radio slightly back in High School, when I had a teacher tell me I had a good voice, then about 6 years later I was randomly approached on the Metro Link by someone who heard me talking and told me just about the same thing.
Fast forwarding back to now, I started as an intern on at Audio8ball.com and it was all just amazing. I kept working on stories and other ideas then was offered a Producer position, that was the best day so far.
From the young age of five, Guru had dreams of becoming an actor on the big screen. Even his parents felt that was his true calling; he was always outgoing and very imaginative.
Now, at the age of 21, his aspirations have changed, but only slightly. While he would still love to be an actor, his new-found dream is to become a film editor and screenwriter. With so many creative ideas circulating in his big head, maybe you'll see his name credited on the big screen someday!
Guru also enjoys creating "music videos" by taking footage of movies and/or YouTube videos and trying to create something fun.
Currently I'm working for KNX 1070 News Radio. I'm a news production coordinator and happy to be a part of the CBS family.
During my down time, when I'm not looking for story ideas, I enjoy reading, biking, running and occasionally hitting up happy hour specials.
I'm a really easy going guy as well as a hard worker. Being on a microphone is my passion and I don't plan on giving it up any time soon! I enjoy writing and reading the news, and am always up for playing a game of basketball or ultimate frisbee!
I really hope one day to be a newscaster either here or LA, and being able to give people what they really want to hear, which is an honest newscast with relevant information.
When I'm not at the station, I volunteer at church, love to travel, and enjoy rooting on the local pro sports teams here in LA.
No one really knows where the Sergio actually came from. Some say he's a world famous disc jockey, others say he's a crazy man demanding to be on the radio, others say he's an alter ego of a deranged college student. All that is certain is his love, respect and passion for great music. He is known to obsess over Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and The Beatles. Which brings us to the present time, where he has been given the opportunity to spread his favorite music through an online radio station, MtRockRadio.com. Anything questions can be sent to his inbox, where he will read over and think of replying back.
He is known to be a bit of a hot head as he is a former mixed martial artist and professional wrestler.
He showed up in the MtRock Offices one day, cold and alone. So, we have him some CDs and gave him a home.....working 7 days a week as a over-night and weekend DJ. Sid loves it at the station so much, that he doesn't leave....ever! He has made the 90.1 MtRock Studio his new home and he is here to stay! Sid can hold down on-air duties flawlessly, while keeping groupies out of the control room.
Rest assured, when Sid, The MtRock Baby is on the air, you can count on non-stop Rock!
His main musical interest is alternative rock but he also enjoys music from the 50's, 60's and beyond. Some his favorite bands include The Beatles, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, The Offspring, Muse, Rammstein and many more.
